This is a great concept, I really like the classic portrait layout. Warm colors and an simple background let the eye wander to the point of the painting. I like the changeover from the hair to the feathers, you defied the hairline soft but clear. I also like the allusion to the pointy feathers at the head of the cardinal. But one point: In my opinion you could have chop the dark feathers more from the skin, it looks a little like veeeery blurred mascara. ^^ Anyways, a cool idea and a good ignition.
This is amazing. Though, when looking at your previous artworks, especially ones done on your Photoshop cs5 + Tablet, I could see that this is definitely one of your works because of this lovely lady's lips, nose, and her jawline. It's amazing. It seems that maybe it's your trademark, or maybe it's just....ehhh, i'm rambling. Sorry. I really love this, it's exotic, original (especially with her no-eyebrows...Most art, especially with women, need well defined eyebrows to help with the "shaping" of the face) and how her shoulders and the beginning of her breasts begin to fade into the portrait.. Man, if I had money, I would SO buy this from you...**Bum-poor** And I loved that you labeled this Cardinal (Vivid Red, if you please...)
