I decided to make a little series of portraits of the main characters of the book East of Eden, because I´m overwhelmed by it, loved it so much. This would be a young Cathy, trying to get as close as possible to what I had imagined while reading the book. (By the way, I wanted to make them in modern clothes.)

That is my favorite book, I love the message it carries. I read it more than four years ago and I still ponder over it. I love the facial expression.
